Current Show Dogs

From an extremely limited, carefully planned 35+ year breeding program,
Brigadoon has produced a very high number of Champions, Specialty Winners, & Group placing Bull Terriers,
who are also loving companions and healthy pets!
We are no longer showing dogs. Those seen here are among the last of the dogs we showed. (Click on the pictures to see their pedigrees).

Winning BOW at GWTA in June 2017 at 10 months

At only 8 months old, Robbie showed in the puppy classes at his first show weekend,
earning a Major win at the Specialty and was twice reserve at the supported shows!
Robbie has a fully correct bite, beautifully curved head with good earset and lovely eye,
and a wonderful, outgoing, loving temperament.

Madison has had some exciting early success in the show ring beginning with a Baby Puppy Group 2 at NCTA and a BP Group 4 at Sacramento KC (both April 2013).
She continued by winning a Terrier Puppy Group 1 in July 2013 at Del Monte KC and Puppy Group 2 at the All Terrier Club of Western Washington.
At the BTC of Puget Sound, she started her Specialty career earning Best of Winners under Breeder Judge Dr. David Harris.
At the BT Specialty in Palm Springs (Jan 2014), she won Best of Winners / 5 point major under Breeder Judge Lynne Myall.
Madison finished her championship during the Puget Sound BTC specialty weekend of 2014 in Washington under breeder judges with a BOW under Duff Harris, and a BOV under Bill Poole.
Her 3rd place in the Terrier Group that day added icing to the cake!!!
Elegant, sound, and especially mischievous, Maddie is trained and usually shown by co-owner Lorelei Craig,
to whom we owe sincere thanks for many of the excellent photos of Madison, her littermates and Brigadoon cousins.

ROM CHAMPION and now new GRAND CHAMPION!!!
Madison's littermate, Roxy, made her debut at the Palm Springs weekend in January 2014.
As a puppy in her first shows, Roxy won 2 Reserve Winners Bitch placements in major entries under breeder judges.
She has since matured beautifully and became a star at the prestigious Great Western Terrier Association specialty weekend in Long Beach, CA in June
with three 5 pt major wins under Breeder Judges. WB, BOW under Gayle Denman on Friday, followed by WB. BOW, BOS under Skip Greaney on Saturday,
and WB, BOW, BOV under John Young on Sunday. From the classes in 3 days she earned 3 AKC majors and 8 ROM points (including 2 ROM majors)!
Roxy was not shown again until January 2015 when she finished her ROM with a BOS under Bill Poole.
Coming out of semi-retirement in Sacramento, April 2017, she became an AKC Grand Champion with BOV and Select Bitch wins on the two days she was shown.
Her BOV was under Bill Leslie and her Select was from Skip Greaney
Roxy exhibits exciting, true Bull Terrier character in addition to her exemplary physical virtues, and is a joy to show.

Brigadoon Sugar Badger at Sydmonton (aka Badger)

Badger, a Georgy / GoGo son, is maturing into a nice show dog.
Young Badger showed at the Palm Springs BT supported shows in January 2014, earning
3 Reserve Winners Dog placements from Breeder Judges.
Handsome, sensitive Badger also does nosework with his famous mother GoGo.
He is shown here exhibiting his sound construction on the move at GWTA in June 2014.
